Green Point Cricket Club 2019_20: Season in Review

Green Point Cricket Club WPCA 2021/2022 Season Summary.

That’s a wrap for the ’21/’22 season, and what a season it was. For the first time in a long time GPCC had 5 teams competing in the WPCA leagues, with the 1sts competing and challenging for the premier league title right up to the last few games of the season. 1st XI eventually finishing in a tied 3rd/4th place, 2nd XI finishing 5th in the Reserve A, 3rd XI crowned Reserve F champions by a long shot and the 4th and 5th XIs finishing mid table in the 3A and 3B respectively.
Some outstanding performances across the club throughout the season and a massive congratulations to everyone involved on and off the field! The club house also saw some extensive renovations and we look forward to the events throughout the winter and leading into next season!

Green Point Cricket Club has evolved over the years and added activities such as Social Squash and a gym facility to our Senior and Junior cricket offerings. Situated in the beautifully picturesque area of the Green Point common and in the heart of the Atlantic Seaboard, we also offer a great facility to the people living in the area, many of which make use of our facilities for dog walking and events.
